This is my 3rd favorite of the 4 scents of Renpure Cleansing Conditioners. The Lavender is my favorite but the Pomegranate is a very close second.I have fine hair but a lot of it! My hair is very thick. It's also wavy and even curly in some spots. This means it's often frizzy. I thought that this Vanilla Mint formula would be best for me because it says it is nourishing.Unfortunately, the Vanilla Mint Cleansing Conditioner makes my hair get greasy looking a lot faster. It looks great the first day but not after that. I think that tis formula is just too heavy for my hair but that makes me believe that this formula would be great for those who the other formulas didn't work so well for. I think it would be great for super thick and super dry hair. Not necessarily dry hair but hair that requires more hydration. It would probably be good for thick, curly hair too.I first tried the mint cleanser and I liked it but my hair had a lot of frizz still. Also, it needed washing daily because my hair looks dirty faster. The Pomegranate and Lavender work the best in my hair! My hair is soft, silky, shiny and healthy looking. I can also get away with not washing it for a few days if I haven't been sweaty. I recently was very sick and couldn't stand long enough to wash my hair (I did shower) so I went 4 days without washing my hair and it still looked great!I love the smell of this cleansing shampoo. The vanilla is strong but it doesn't have too sweet of a smell like some vanilla fragrances can have. The mint mellows it down perfectly.I use about 10 to 15 pumps to begin with and slap it onto my scalp and work it in working my way down to the ends. I add more pumps if needed as well as a little water. I use my nails to massage my scalp. I use a plastic bristle brush to brush it in. Then I leave it in for about 10 minutes while I shave my legs. After towel drying my hair I add a couple pumps to the ends of my damp hair and brush in only brushing the ends at first to work it into the ends. The longer I use these cleansing conditioners the less I've had to do this.It is recommended to use a gentle shampoo every 6 washes or as needed if needed. I really thought I would be one of those people who needed to wash it with a gentle shampoo once a week but I haven't used a shampoo in 2 months now. I have no build up and my hair isn't greasy.I will never use regular shampoo and conditioner again as long aa Renpure is on the market. I tried L'Oréal's cleansing conditioner when it first came out and it was awful. My hair was like straw. It was so tangled and dry. I will not spend a fortune either so Wen is out. Read Less
